we noticed that too about the static inside. Especially around the gauges and radio. We should be closing on our house Tuesday and so we e getting her detailed inside and out as soon as we close so we can put we in the garage to help try to keep her clean. The red jewel attracks dirt too and looks as I'd it is going to be difficult to keep clean but oh well, love her anyway.

I finally drove for te first te yesterday and did quite well if I do say so myself. Didn't kill it not even once. Very fun to drive and def likes to go fast!

As far as the tint and back window we asked the guy who did Ora about it and he said that it didnt affect the defrost or radio antenna at all. This is his 6th or 7th one to do and none of the others have had problems.

More than 5k for a ring??? U kiddin me? U go anymore than that and ur gonna have to hire a body guard to walk around with her to protect it. Lol. My first wedding set was about $1000 for engagement ring and wedding band wrap. When we went to Jamaica last summer Eric bought me a new wedding ring cause te price was so good we couldn't pass it up. It was only like $1800 and they threw in a $300 digital camera (that was the whole reason for going into the store we had dropped ours and broke it an darn the luck the cameras wre in the jewelry store lol). Anyway it is platinum gold and .53 carats. So $5k would be a monster.

Gotta love the babies, even if they do tend to get dirty once in awhile...

I'm glad you got back in the swing of a manual....I learned on a manual, and drove one (VW beetle) for a couple of years but it has been so long ago I have no desire to ever drive one again.....so Punkin is an automatic.

Good to know about the rear window tint.

I finally got my dream ring for my 20th anniversary this year. But....my son carried me with him to pick out his now wife's engagement ring. It's quite funny to hear him tell the story. Thanks to my "suggestions", she ended up with a 1.30 carat solitare set in platinum and then she has her wedding band wrap and an anniversary band. She better be loving me!!

Ok......so no bowtie blackouts for me or hood spears!!! The one's I ordered SUCK big time. Front bowtie did not fit, so I don't need just the back bowtie blacked out. Hood spears were way too wide for the stock hood. Oh well, just $100 down the drain!!!! Guess I will just leave my baby stock!!!

just try to sell it on eBay or Craig list. That's what we r doin with the fuel door we got. Might lose a little but better than losing the whole amount. We r going to a place that makes signs and does lettering on vehicles to have them black out our bowties. This will be the first they have done so we will see but
they r really good and will keep doing it till they get it right. They r going to put the vinyl on the bowties then trim it out.

Woohoo....window tint looks great. I ended up with 20% which is darker than the legal of 35%, but maybe I can get by.
