Just for the record guys.

We aren't gonna count Red lights or bad dates. I spoke with Junkie and he feels this is the best way to keep the fast list honest.

No offense, those are good times for sure.

OK if you're not going to count red lights then here is a list of the
names that have to be removed from the fast times lists. Sorry, but if you won't allow one guy then you can't allow anyone who red lights, period.

GTAHVIT, can you explain why you wont count a red light? Iis still a valid and accurate ET. and as far as the date i have another member who has vouched for my time and i will be more than happy to post my other 4 slips that have the wrong date as well. If you want to be really picky the time is wrong too, does that disqualify a slip?

I'm guessing here, I spoke to Junkie on the phone today. He's away from a computer but getting updates through his mobile phone.

He asked me to explain to you all that he doesn't want red lights to count nor incorrect time slips.

This is his thread as he's a very accomplished driver. I'll let him give you all the details if he chooses.

As such, it is my guess that the fast list is as much a test of the driver as it is the performance of the car. But you'll have to get that answer from him.

Again this is my guess as to what Junkie is thinking. I expect him to be back online on Tues. I'm sure he'll explain it when he gets back. He is certainly aware of the discussion being had here.

I hate being an a$$, but rules are rules. It wouldn't count at the track so it shouldn't be counted on the list. Sucks, cause they still went that fast.
But I guess there's alot of guys that would have
won races on time alone in NHRA, except they red lighted.
Half the guys in the final round at the Las Vegas Nationals won on reaction times, even with a slower car.
