i dont see the DONK image happening on this car considering were all pretty used to seeing the 21 and 22" wheels on the concept. plus since it can fit up t oa 24" wheel, they actually wont look bad on it because you do have alot of fender t ofill up. it only looks rediculous on most cars because the fender gap between the wheel and fender is so small.
I hope not. You're right, IMVHO, that the relationship between wheel and fender opening sizes also affect looks. 28-inch tall tires just seem like they give up some in performance but, that's just MHO. It may help ride quality, but I can change it if I don't like it, so no big deal.

True enough. The cheapest tires I found above 255 cross-sectionally with 21-inch diameters was like $350 a tire! I won't be doing burnouts if that's the case!!!

two sets of rims here.

Hey just wanted to get the comities thoughts on two different sets of rims here. I was sent this pic on rims made by velocity by they cam come in only 20x8.5 at the largest with. They do look similar to the ones on the vert however. The second set is the ones offered on the 2009 Z06 and they bought in sizes ranging from 17x8.5-20x11 and a strange size 19x12. Just want to get some opinions here. The wheels would go on a car that looks like this. Get rid of the chin spoiler. Paint job will be as is or Red w/ white race stripes.

These ones are pretty bitchin', but the rivets killed it for me:

Thank god I went to the show at indy because it answered a lot of questions I had and one of them was about the 21's. So after seeing them I am getting them. I will post pictures when my internet gets back up and running but they are the wheels that were on the red camaro with the accessories on it. Not the ones I posted on the first page but I have a picture of them on the red camaro.

If you look at the Camaro accessories thread, or the Indy reveal pics, there are pics of the 21" wheels. Neither look very good in my opinion. Plus theyd be a fortune to replace the tires on because 21" is an odd size.

yeah i saw those at indy. sorry i didnt post them.
i dont know the tire size on the 21's but i looked on line at prices for a 21 with the same numbers as the 20's and they were about 330 for the rears and 350 for the fronts. not too bad of a deal. i paid 800 for 2 295/35/18 on my old t/a
