But you have to think most wax will just cover up the scratches.... I had small scratches from washing it and i just took some wax to it but the next time you wash it they will be back.... I had to do a multi step to make it shine and stay shining

STEP ONE- wash and dry
STEP TWO- clay bar
STEP THREE- basecoat/clear coat cleaner
STEP FOUR- basecoat/clear coat finish

This job took me over 3 hours to do but let me tell you it is well worth it and there is no amount of time i wont spent making my car look better than it did when i first purchased it.....

That's what a lot of the OTC stuff does, which is why I never recommend it.

I just ordered the whole enchilada from Zaino, Z-2, ZFX, Z-6. We shall see whose Camaro looks shinier. Whoops, we'll never know for sure since there is no objective way of comparing the luster of our respective rides. Oh well, mine's black, and thus, by its nature, it's bound to look cooler.

Yours will look good for 20 minutes till the dust starts settling on it or i'll just clean up my 2003 chevy dually with 150000 miles and we can give it a try it is also black

All in fun.Black does look good,But if it is in the spring the pollen will make it look yellow in a short time,and besides i am an Adams polish believer i've been doing this too long.

Here's a few of mine, after a TW Ice polish and NXT2.0 wax.

I love pic #2 with the american flag reflection in the hood.

That's nice 2LTRS, but check out this hood after I clayed, followed with Adam's SHR, FMP and then a coat of Americana carnuba wax. Now this is how you reflect a flag on the hood!

It really gets impressive if you see what it looked like before I started:
