Bike Roof Rack Options for Camaro?

Hi Everybody,

I plan to get an SS pretty soon and I was trying to figure out if it has slots on the roof for a rack?

I ride mountain and road bikes and was wondering if there is anybody else here that uses their Camaro to transport the bikes?

I realize I could probably put a trailer hitch on the back, but that would probably ruin the great lines, unless there is a way to hide it when not in use.

Any insight?

This thread has been up for almost 10 minutes and no one has flamed him for leaning his bike against the beauty?

Or we're finally getting to the point where we don't need to criticize how people treat the things they spent their money on.

OP, there have been a few threads on this. The conclusion of which they came to (I believe) was that there are no roof racks currently working for the car, and that the hitch option was the way to go. Try searching and see if you can get more of the details from the threads directly.

The "Sports" in Sportscar stands for "Sports" doesn't it?

I just published a story on www.RolexMagazine.com on Jean-Claude Killy who is probably the greatest skier of all time and I found this great 1969 Camaro SS Convertible ad in our archive!!!! Looks like he has a Ski Rack on his SS Convertible Camaro to me!!!!!

Yea, classic! they would never write that much in an ad anymore.

Great car too! I wonder what that would be worth all original today?

what you want to do to your camaro is your business. No criticism here for putting a bike rack on your camaro.
But if thats your bike, leaning on a Camaro which seems to be a lot car, karma is going to be a real bitch to you
