Hey everyone, I am thinking of getting a Cold Air Intake soon, but I wanted to know, which intakes would not void my factory warranty, or do all of them void the warranty?

Just a CAI shouldn't void your warranty. Roto-fab's claims on their own site that theirs won't throw any codes.

I have had my Roto Fab for about 4 months...love it and no codes at all

An air intake will not effect your warranty in any way. Pick which ever one you like.

None of the cold air intakes void the warranty and most of them dont throw codes. And dont worry about all they hype about wich one is best or makes the best numbers. They are all pretty much the same so just pick the one you like the looks of best. Because unless your going to add forced induction or build the motor, a cold air intake is mainly about looks and bragging rights. That being said, I went with the LateModel Racecraft intake... They have the worlds fastest and quickest 2010 camaro for a reason!

I have Cold Air Inductions and it did not throw any codes, been on for several months now.

Pick up the May issue of GM High-Tech Performance - they test, review, and compare 7 CAI's for the Camaro.

And no, a CAI alone generally won't affect your warranty unless you really piss off the service manager. But just be careful when you go in for warranty claims... if they suspect you've been racing they can use any excuse to not cover repairs, including CAI's. As an example, if I went in for a broken half-shaft, I would probably put the car back to stock first including the intake.

According to Jannety and a few members on here a tune was not needed.
