Just disappointed...

....in some new Camaro owners around here. Clearly they must not be a member of this site. I saw three Camaros while out today and only 1 looked to belong to someone who actually cared.

Camaro one -- at the first movie theater I went to today. Black, LT, and FILTHY has hell. You could seriously have written "wash me" in the dirt on this one.

Camaro two -- at the second theater I ended up at. Brand new, black SS, paper tags and parked so CLOSE to the line that he was DARING anyone parking to his left to hit his car with their door.

Camaro three -- same theater as 2, Black, LT....well this one looked decent. No problems I could see, but it was dark after the movie so who knows?

The one thing that did impress me today was not a Camaro. It was a Shelby parked outside a Blockbuster I go to. I've never seen one up close and this one was immaculate.....just SWEET.

Spread the word....if you've got a Camaro....for the love of pete, take care of the thing! The world and its idiots are harsh enough on these beautiful cars....they don't need neglect from their owners adding to the mix.

I hear ya, I wouldn't even think about driving this car around dirty. Some people just don't care, and it's just a mode of transportation to them. To each their own right?

Maybe they've just been a bit busy lately? My Camaro is pretty dirty right now because I've been forced to park outside due to the remodel and they sandblasted the house recently, leaving a noticeable layer of dust on the car. Not to mention the neighbor's sprinklers got on. So ya, it's messy. But I dare you to say that I don't care about my Camaro.

Sometimes life gets rough and washing the car is the least of you worries. You were pretty quick to judge those owners. Who knows, maybe they were waiting for Sunday to wash the car.

I agree, don't judge them. My car gets washed on Sundays and can at times look pretty rough if it got caught in the rain during the week. I try to keep it spotless at all times, but life will throw you a curve ball every now and then.

My car has been pollen covered and nasty but I take the time to either dust it off with my duster or pull out my detail spray and give it a quick once-over. I won't take my car out dirty either.

Quick Detail spray is a must have in my garage! A quick 5 min dust off and quick detail in the garage keeps your baby nice and purty! She's one of my "babies" and NONE of my babies goes to school dirty!

You know your right...I dont like having my car dirty at all. The thing is that it does happen from time to time. In my case I needed to drive my car into work for a whole week and it got really nasty with all the bugs and such but didnt really have time during the week to clean it up and detail it every day of the week. On the weekend I had already planned on a taking a trip to San Diego to go to Sea World and I had already told my girl that we would take my car. When we got to the Hotel I looked at it and I almost at how dirty it looked.
So I told my girl "WE HAVE TO FIND A CAR WASH". She was like why its just going to get dirty again but she took a look at how disgusted I was having my car look that way and said okay hopefully we find one on the way to Sea World. I swear the place I had my car washed was like 10x's better than Sea World.

Only one of the ones I mentioned was filthy. The other one parked in such a way that getting nailed by the next guy's door was pretty much a guarantee.

I've seen week-old dirty and this was far beyond that. We're not talking 7 days worth of road dirt here, we're talking plain FILTHY. But again, that's only one of the cars I saw. The other seemed to not care that he was about to ruin his doors by giving the next guy no room to park.

Like many cars, people buy them for different reasons. There are members who use their Camaro as their daily driver. Others, store them in the winter, and don't even drive them in the rain.

Regardless, the common element, even for the dirty ones, the Camaro is purchased because of what it is. An awesome car that looks and goes great.................dirty or not.
