who's notice the leather seats
i was cleaning the car out today, and well found out the the leather does not go down the side of the seat next to the console. anyone know why?

The leather is on the seating surface. The sides and the back are typically not leather. But for the console side, it is probably durability as the seat slides against the console.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the only leather parts are the perforated areas of the front seats, the steering wheel, & the shifter (not including the boot). Everything else (including the entire backseat) is vinyl.

A good question - with an answer!
When you put leather or vinyl on a surface that could come in contact with the console, you will get an "itch" -- the 'sound' of the leather or vinyl 'itching' against the side of the console. (...usually won't happen with a 95 lb driver - but with some of us larger guys, it will...) therefore, a special material is used so that when it comes in contact with the console, you don't hear the 'itch' noise.........

My '95 Trans Am was the same mixture of leather/vinyl. It saves $ by not covering everything in leather.
