near chicago now... at least thats where google tells me "yard center, illinois" is... chicago is a 5 hour drive from my house! although im sure it will still be a few days because of the holiday

I tried the site, but my car does not exist on it. Chicago isnt that far. I was told that mine is going to St. Louis and catching a truck for three hours from there. I was told to expect the car on turesday.

My dealer called me today and told me the car will arrive at the dealership on Monday, the 12th of July. WOOHOOOOO!!!!

I told them not to wash my car and to keep the Pre Delivery Inspection and mileage to a minimum.

I'm off on monday, so as a matter of fact, I think I'm gonna go hang out at the dealership waiting for my car, haha.

camarotracking is obviously DAYS behind on getting updates. I found out tuesday morning that my car was loaded on a truck the previous friday. Tuesday afternoon my car is delivered to the dealer. I drove the car home last night

but still havent had any tracking updates since tuesday morning.... so for all those out there still waiting, following the tracking process can be frustrating, but it truly is worth the wait!

I'm impressed that the car was built on june 29th and delivered one week later on july 6th.

Im wondering why the HECK if takes 3 days to get from Oshawa to Chicago but OVER A WEEK to get from chicago to wisconsin!!!! southern wisconsin at that!

I am soooo tired of waiting, and unfortunatly I cannot take of work mon-wed of next week, so if it comes then I will have to wait until a whole week from now to pick it up!!!

4 camaros from our build date showed up at my dealer last night. Mine wasn't one of them. I was just told it will probably be today. I'm getting impatient also. Car has been sitting three hours from my house for two days now.

It showed up at my dealership today!!! I went and visited him... made sure he was OK, then covered him up in the svc center next to the ZR-1 to wait until I can pick it up next week! So excited

... AND flabergasted that it's been <1 mo. since I ordered and I could've taken delivery today or tomorrow if I'd wanted to. (Don't hate me for it to those of you waiting, it's not my fault

)

Congrats!

Mine got here lat last night. Prep and ground effects monday morning. I will pick it up at lunch time and straight to the tire shop, my shop for all badges and the mufflers removed, then to the tint shop for 20% all the way around. Stage 2 cam next Saturday!

Well its monday and still no car... I finished up all the financing so now all I gotta go is take the keys and go. Dealer says the last camaro he ordered showed up 6 days after the ship date.... hopefully mine will come sooner.
