How young is young? I have a 2 1/2 and a 3 1/2, both girls. and they LOVE Daddy's shop. But I understand where you are coming from. Most kids do NOT like staying at one place for so long. Well, except Jason.

As for start time. Its looking like the $40 did its job. We have been getting many phone calls from people wanting to "reserve" their spot first thing Saturday morning. I tell them all, first come first serve.
Im sure Ill have the Dyno fired up early, so come on down around 9.

Wow! Sounds like you are going to have a great turn out! The weather is looking good too. As far as our kids are concerned, our daughters are 9 and 7. Our seven year old has Down Syndrome and is a handful when she's in a new environment. She's like Alice in Wonderland. She would be into everything and all I would end up doing is chasing her around and telling her "No, don't touch that.." LOL. It's just best I stay home with her. Is your tuner going to be there? Darin wants to pick his brain.

Also, our Borla S exhaust has shipped! I'm so excited!!! I'm ready to be done with the SLP2's.

Glad I can offer you all someone to pick on...

This is going to be SWEET! I think you will have a huge turn out. Are the usual suspects coming? Shockey, Odom, Joe, Paul... ?? What about Leroy with the stang?

Hank... I texted Kerwin about it, he said maybe... get his a$$ down here too!

Dyno Day sounds like fun, and it would be cool to see what my car can do (especially since I didn't break it in like a sissy ). Unfortunately I've got too much going on this weekend, so it's probably not happening for me. Hopefully we can get together soon, so I can see all the latest mods on your cars!

My brother's almost done with our dad's '69 Camaro - he and my husband put its hood on when we were over there for my exhaust mod. It's looking great! I remember when it looked a lot like jrhaus's, so there's hope for him too! I want to put together a Hueston Woods cruise after he's done so he can join us.

Huston Woods?, All of those back roads, nice sweeping curves and good roads, What are you thinking? I have to go out to the garage, move a bunch of boxes around, dig around to move all of my hammers, to find the fricking Camaro. Its up to 1500 miles, and I have been beating it up and been tacking all the way up to 2500. I don't think it could possibly make it that far with out a rest in between. Does Gratis have a Rest Stop? I will need to check the fluids. I had the car for 8 months now, I need to pace myself or I will wear it out with all this driving.
We can have Jason swipe a bunch of hot dogs and hamburgers Saturday, that way the food is covered. Might start to smell funny in his trunk after a month or two. Honey, we dyed the hot dogs green just for you, trust me....
Later....

This would be a nice rest stop (in Camden): Depot Dairy Bar & Restaurant

Milkshakes

Saying it is "Easy" to work on cars is just like my father-in-law telling me it is "Easy" to build furniture or my computer guy telling me it is "Easy" to build the PC's we have here and set everything up to run correctly. I personally didn't think it was easy to set up my home theater system and I am positive that there are many that could have done it in 20 minutes lol.

Just like anything else, it's all relative...

Now, back to your actual quote (Sorry, I think I quoted the wrong person lol) most shop owners could go on for days about the various cars they have had towed in that the owners "Buddy" did in his driveway or some guy did "After hours" in his garage or his friends cousins sisters boyfriend did for pizza and beer. There are many talented people out there and there are many that are not I have seen some things done that get towed in here to "Correct" that you just have to stop and wonder what part of that sounded like a good idea at the time

The sad thing is the owner typically ends up paying double what it would have been had they done it here in the first place. The nice thing (For the shop) is that they are almost always customers for life
Jeff
