Just got off phone with the dealer. Dealer said they talked to GM sales rep late last week and the dealer wasn't aware that Camaros "were not under sold unit pickup" until they talked to the GM rep. GM rep also told them "that Camaros have suddenly gotten tight again". But, dealer couldn't tell me exactly what that meant, they weren't sure what GM rep meant. Dealer tells me "allocations come out tomorrow". Dealer said I have been first and only one in line.

I placed deposit 8-20. I have a status 1100 as of 8-25. Considering I have been first in line, would it be accurate that the dealer could have gone a month without an allocation? Should they know when they will actually be getting allocations?

Allocation becomes available for the next month on Wed. I believe it's safe to say they haven't had allocation for a month. If you are first, hopefully your order will be placed on Thurs. Wed the allocation becomes available, Thurs is when dealers can submit orders against allocation. Good luck and keep us posted.

3400 Status TPW 10/4 as of 9/9. Looks like you are good to go for production that week. Good luck getting any sleep until then. Check back daily if you'd like that week and we'll check for a VIN #.

Thanks Becky!!!! you are the best. The dealer has been giving me the run around since I placed the order. I found another dealer about an hour away that ordered an SS exactly the same as my order. It is a step up with the RS package... I guess I will just have to suffer through it

If it works out i'll drive it to the dealer that placed my 4 week 1100 order to cancel tomorrow. For anybody else getting jerked around by your dealer, keep looking through your local inventory it's worth the time spent!
