For the ignorant...

I read all these posts but no one is saying what version they got. Do I want dry or oiled filter for a stock ride?

Dry is less hp? But oiled jacks up the MAF? Fill me in.

...and where is everyone getting those colored clamps?

Thanks guys!

Mike

We've had some recent questions on our intake, so we decided to bring up this thread as it covers many of the design qualities.

Long read, but I'm sold now.

As soon as I come up with the cash, I'm going with Roto-fab

We now have our gallery up on Roto-fab.com There is a large variety of Camaro packages and color combinations. The majority of them are from C5 members. If you have Roto-fab components on your car that isn't in our gallery, please post it on this thread. We will get it up on our site!

Just wondering what you thought about the Jannetty tests and the not so high numbers with your CAI?

they stated that with a tune roto-fab runs right up there with the best of them .. what sucks is the untuned average gains being -.8hp and the peak gains being pretty weak. seems like the wrong choice for someone that doesn't want to tune.

(disappointed that he ordered one.. hope it at least sounds good.. lol :/)

I have a Roto-Fab and tuned and I am very happy with the performance and sound. Just wondering what the OP thought about the tests and their data.

We've had many positive results posted from many different customers on many different dyno tests. Some have been tuned, many with just our CAI.

We do have some concerns with the results of Ted's testing. We've talked directly with Ted and we are looking at some of the information and will be doing more testing on our end. We will be posting more on this in the upcoming weeks. Meanwhile, feedback from customers and tuners who use our intake continues to be very positive. I would look at the overall picture and all of the feedback on our products.
