I have a Bat Turntable so I can pull in and it will rotate to face out...

In my Bat Cave off course and in my dreams.

Same as heinz, Bend Pak HD9 9000. Have Jack Plate and rollers for each post. Has worked flawlessly.

I bought a 9000lb 2 post clearfloor unit last year. Absolutely the best investment in shop tools I have bought yet. Got it at gregsmithequipment.com , picked it up in atlanta to help with shipping charges.

Sorry for the quality of the pics. They were taken from my iPhone. If you want to see if I can get different angles let me know.

I recently bought a Bend-Pak RJ45 bridge jack. I've had issues with this jack some of which is posted at http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...t=56838&page=2.

I've read that Bend-Pak and many lift brands are made in China.
Hey Heinzd01, thanks for the endorsement! We put you in our testimonials page, check it out!

I have two in my shop, both Rotary two post asymmetrical lifts. One is a 7000 lb. and the other is a 9000 lb. These are used in a professional environment and have held up well. The 7000 lb. lift is 15 years old and the 9000 lb. lift is 10. The only problem I've had is the start capacitor blew up on the 9000lb. lift last year. these things are tough and safe.

We will now resume the "lift" thread.

I have a 10 foot ceiling. I am 5'9" tall and can just get the car high enough to stand straight under the car. If the car or I were taller I would not be able to stand. The lift itselt can go up another 9 inches.

As for the door clearance, I was able to get it to work. Other than making sure it would clear the car, the door handle needs to clear the door frame and spring bracket. I was able to do that the second time. I didn't need to by any additional track. I cut it at the bend, where I thought it would work, and cut a straight piece off of the other end. A few carrage bolts and some angles and it works just fine.

And one more thing, with a four post lift, if you use it to store two cars in one bay you can add drip pans to catch any drips from the upper car. Just remember to put them back if you move them. Fortunately the trans fluid dris were small enough and I caught them in time that they didn't destroy the paint on my hood! I won't make that mistake again.

"BRILLIANT!!".......
