Okay.... My will be having her birthday next Tuesday ( 29 again for the 17th time ), so a party on Saturday is a MUST.... We can do the 4-7 ( weather permitting ), eat at Boston Pizza, and then over to my place for cocktails / games.... or go clubbing ... Doesn't really matter as long as we're all together

Who's in ???

Oh crap, I forgot all about Thanks Giving ... I remember now that you mentioned it last Friday

Okay, The 16th doesn't look good for us either, we're going to the Vanier College open house on the 17th with Chelsea. I need to have a clear head that day, and knowing us, it wont be ...... So I guess we'll continue with Friday night tradition, at least until the 23rd...

Hey Bill, not sure if the Laval meets are still a go We've gone the last two weeks, and there was hardly anyone there.... We just ended up going to the "after party" .... I imagine we'll be doing the same this week. I guess we'll see

Not feeling that SLP edition.... I'd go your route, and have something better for less

AS WHAT I HEARD FROM THE ORGANISERS, THE LAST MEET SHOULD HAVE BEEN LAST FRIDAY BUT THEY CANCELLED BECAUSE THE WEATHER WAS'NT GOOD ENOUGH DURING THE AFTERNOON.

WHAT I COULD SUGGEST IS A SUNDAY RUN FROM LAVAL TO ST-SAUVEUR USING THE 117 ROAD. I DID THAT MANY TIMES IN MY OLD CORVETTE TIMES AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME. WE WHERE GATHERING IN A "CREPERIE" THAT HAS A LARGE PARKING FOR US TO PARK THE CARS. THEN WE CAME BACK TO MONTREAL, SOME WHERE GOING FOR SUPPER, SOME JUST WENT HOME. IT'S POSSIBLE TO RESERVE AT THE CREPERIE. THE FOOD IS GREAT....

BUT ONE THING WAS A MUST. WE NEEDED AN "OPENER" AND A "CLOSER" WHICH HAD SOME WALKIE-TALKIES (FRS TYPE) SO TO CHECK THE GROUP AND MAINTAIN IT TOGETHER. CARS IN THE MIDDLE HAD SOME FRS ALSO SO TO HEAR WHAT THE GROUP OPENER/CLOSERS WHERE SAYING EACH OTHER. THERE WHERE LOTS OF JOKES AND CRASY TALKING ALSO....,,,,,,,

THIS WAY IT WAS EASY TO MAINTAIN THE CARS TOGETHER AND WE WHERE MAKING A MAJOR ENTRENCE IN ST-SAUVEUR WITH ALL THOSE PEOPLE LOOKING AT THE CARS.....

I CAN CONVINCE MY GIRLFRIEND TO JOIN US. WE STILL HAVE A FEW SUNDAYS LEFT.....BEFORE SENDING OUR BABIES TO SLEEP FOR THE WINTER SEASON.

Here's a proposal.

I read your remarks and nowadays the 117 might not be the best idea from Laval to St-Jerome.

I've checked accuweather for sunday october 17 and even though it's close to 2 weeks from now, they preview a super day.

I suggest that we start from Leon's @ 11:00AM, take autoroute 15 up to St-Jérome and the 117 up to St-Sauveur. Have lunch at the Creperie (which I'll do reservations and get some parking spaces reserved also).

After lunch we could displace the cars in the Church parking near center of the village and we could bum around and have a drink in some terrace....

For the return we could road the 117 up to St-jérome and than either split or for some who wish to gather up for supper do their thing.

I already own some FRS (walkie-talkies), I think I still have 4 of them, and we could use them for the ride. My experience is that without those FRS it's a mess to keep the gang together but with them it's quite better.

If any one has a better destination suggestion, I don't have a problem with that.

I really don't mind about the destination, I only proposed St-Sauveur.

I'am willing to take over this ride organisation by gathering the names of the attendants, who should PM me so I would post the number of participants.

I'll also post this ride on Club Camaro Québec and try to get some new people in.

Robert
