DIY on adding ABL to your door

Hi some of the member wanted me to start this one up, The end result will be to add the lights in your door all the way around.

We all know how to remove the door panel, If you don't here is 2 link's.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...9&postcount=29
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...0&postcount=30

So now that we have the door way off here are the tools and parts you will need per door.

Tools:
Heat gun to bend the light pipe's
Sand paper in 220 grit and 400 & 800.
A Dremel style tool so you can cut a 2nd type mounting place around the door panel.
A cuter to cut the pipe to the right length.(1 pipe is to long for the door panel)

Parts you need per door:
1 pc Light pipe
2 pc 3mm LED's
2 GM LED's
2 resister ( I used 370 ohm 1/4 watt )
1 4 way connector ( I used the same connectors as GM used on there LED's )

you will need 10 holders to hold the pipe in place. me and a 2nd member know what parts that is.

First i am at work to day and all my pics are at home so i will add as we go, But this will give you some idea.

I will update this page as i go.

Any Updates?

Usually a DIY / Guide will walk someone step by step through the install.. This one leaves you dead in the water after you get the parts...
