Don't underestimate some of these vans out there. I have a Kia Sedona for a family vehicle and that thing will fly and will smoke the tires.

Plus the 2011 model has been increased to 271 HP. LOL!

We got one of those too (wives vehicle) and on longer trips I drive this and can vouch it has serious power! Barely realize you are doing 100 unless you watch the speedometer. Serious pickup and passing power.

You guys would be surprised by some of the stuff that goes to the track. I have a GMC Safari and it can move out. Last time I went to the track I took the kids with me and low and behold there was an ice cream truck racing.

Here are the videos:

And you don't want to tangle with this van:

BTW, my fastest that day in the white "hay hauler" Silverado in my sig was 13.5 and the fastest Camaro SS ran a 13.9 with a manual tranny.

i remember in my younger days I tried a race in my Geo Storm vs a guy in a Viper just to be silly. I had one one those loud fart can mufflers and all.. We were sitting at a redlight and I throw it in neutral and look over at him and rev it up....vroom vroom... he looks like "yea right" i point at the light and vroom vroom again.... well the light turns green and i floor it.... he is riding right along side me....driving with one hand and never had to shift outta first.......once he had enough of my fooling around he upshifted and left me in a cloud of burnt rubber smoke....

When I had my prius I was stuck in traffic next to this guy in a Roush mustang that kept reving his engine and chirping his tires every time the traffic moved. We ended up first at a red light so I start chirping the tires and lunging the car a few inches. This guy actually thought I was serious and took off like a bat out of hell! I just laughed and said to my wife he was probably bragging to his buddy about how he showed me. My 2 year old asked why we were laughing and I told her that some people dont get a joke and then do silly things to that make me laugh.

I get the teenagers in the trucks who just want me to rev my engine, the minivan dads who try to race me on the freeway and last but not least are the BMW's who try to race at the stop lights.

I'll rev my engine because the Texas boys are just too cute and ignore the rest.

I know what you mean; I had a Dodge Caliber pull up and want to race; I just gave him the not worth it wave and moved on letting him squeal his way down the road to tickets and whatever glory he might have in his retelling of the tale how a Camaro SS wouldn't race him because he was so scary and fast. The idiot; honestly where do these morons come from? LOL.

I drove my LS1 Camaro SS for 10 years and cant recall a time someone tried to race me...maybe they revved by me, or took off from a light, but it was never an issue as I just dont act interested.
