I really like to figure out what kind of cam I want to buy from Texas Speed but its so confusing as to what Cams they have for sale if any for the Automatic cars...

I PM'd a while back to someone on giving me a site link or a list of what is available and... Nothing.

Anyone know the cams available and prices?

Hmm, on the site it looks like all the VVT cams come with new springs. I'm guessing you;ll have to pull the heads for the install?

The AFM-1 AFM-2 AFM-3 camshaft was built with afm friendly lifters so you do not have to swap lifters. The VVT-1 VVT-2 VVT-3 camshafts require a lifter swap to LS3 style lifters so you can run these more aggressive lobes.

We just installed PRC heads on the L99 car & it's up 100rwhp with heads & the VVT-3 camshaft!

Best band ever btw...

Am I correct with my presumption that these VVT cams are for the L99 (I think I've read a bit about getting good VVT cams for the L99 or maybe I'm confusing something else)? And what is this DOD delete? Sorry if they're dumb, still learning.

VVT & DOD are all L99 terms. DOD = Displacment on Demand..

These are the non-aftermarket castings correct?

OK. So, I really want to understand this a little better.

I have a 2011 SS Camaro L99 Auto. I want to put a cam in there that will give me at least 50 RWHP, and has a nice lope to it.

I really want to get rid of DOD/AFM through tuning, etc. Which is the best cam to go with for this from TSP?

I want to have a CAI, Long tubes, cat delete (South Carolina no inspections), and I am really liking the new Borla Attack exhaust.

AFM and DOD, what the hell was GM thinking with these cars? I mean really... You want that, buy the 6-cyl for gas mileage.
