So would your share total decrease with this loan? Or would it stay the same?

When does the actual order "drop" to the production status?

Mines ordered...just wondering when is the official date or up to what date can we make changes as we see newer things for the Camaro?

A woman I work with did the same thing to buy a car, stating the same reasoning - her 401k is losing money, so she'd rather pay herself interest than watch the money fall.

Except that, by cashing out, you have officially "lost" that money. Remember, you only lose money in the markets if you cash out when it's low.

My 401(k) is down 50% this year, and I'm loving every minute of it. A crap market means stocks are cheap and I'm buying all I can for dirt.

I took that to mean when the car actually goes into production, which would make changes possible right up to Feb. Anyone else?

GM has stated that we will be able to change our orders until they are submitted sometime in Dec.

I would assume the two month period from the time orders are officially submitted, until the time production starts, will be necessary to assign VIN#'s and to determine what order to produce the cars, based on the initial pre-orders.

let's not forget the fact thatif they only build 20,000 units that wont be enuogh,and could cause[ god forbid] some less then die hard camaro fan to possbly buy a mustang, or a dodge and i know where a whole lot of challenger's is.so they be able to snap it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now would be a great time snatching up some gm stock. it's dirt cheap and it will go up. if a person could say buy 2,000 shares at less then $4.00 a share and it will eventually go up to say around $50.00 a share, you'd pocket a nice profit.i could be in error but if you spent$6,900.00 and it got to $50.00a share you've made a little over $90,000.00 in profit not to bad and you know gm is goimg to bounce back
