New So Cal Member!
After some hunting and dealing, had to buy it in Northern California then drive it home to San Diego. Breaking it in a long the 101 for 8hours was a bonding experience like no other. When I finally arrived last night in San Diego exhausted I managed to giver her a quick rinse(remove the dead bugs) do a fuse pull and pass out.
I woke up to a hound of Hades. Damn Camaro is practically begging to be driving again like yesterdays 8hr trip didn't happen. So yeah naturally I was out all day, and then got her professionally detailed and sealed. Let the fun begin (Catch Can already on its way, slue of other things as well)I am keeping the quarter flares, they grew on me in that short of time plus I can't even notice them and they keep my liquid sex black staying that way. ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us While I was uploading these photos I was thinking to myself, damn this car is right outside...right now... Congrats and welcome.
![]() Driving on I-5 for 8 hours is not only boring but dangerous for rock chips. Glad you didn't get any on your drive home. =) |

I took the 101 so that I could eat curves and vary the speed easier. I didn't break 4,500 rpms but I sure as shit broke 100mph 20+ times. Then I got a great taste of stop and go through LA and Long Beach traffic, then the final stretch... Well it was odd after 7hours of varying my speed (basically slowing down then dropping to 4th or 5th and bringing it back up) it was practically a muscle memory at that point I had to smile I was a break in robot by the end of it. and Thanks
