Once the magnacharger goes into the Challenger it will outperform the 392 anyways. I'm guessing the 392's will be coming with a pretty hefty price tag too. Bigger doesn't always mean better. While I'd like to supercharge the Mustang, wife is happy with it the way it is. I suppose I should "feel" for you too, buying too early as well, with the fabled Z28 coming out. But I don't.
the z28 is an entirely different model that will be priced higher. I have a few years before any new Camaro comes out, so it doesn't really relate.

it wasn't a douchebag comment, I sincerely felt bad when I noticed you had two cars that quickly became outdated and purchased both right before the upgrades popped out. while you might not feel the same, I would want to go kill my dealer if I bought a car and within a year a refreshed model with a ton more power came out.

bigger and better are always on the horizon, but damn I want a few years before my model becomes drastically improved. both the challenger and the mustang were dramatically improved

FYI - it would be my 1st Chevy, as well as my 1st BMW - I've only had "boring" hondas and acuras up to now. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
just one question , how tall are you ,if 5' 10 and up then there is no question , but the answer is the CAMARO

I like BMWs more than Chevys, but I don't like the 1 series. Get a 335i or M3 if you want a BMW. Otherwise get the Camaro SS.

And this have nothing to do with German or American economy, I don't care about that when I'm buying a car. It's all about which car I like more.

BMW is obviously the much funner car to drive and has a much more involving experience in twisty backroads, the Camaro in a straightline. The 1 series may not look the part but it pays dividends in outward visibility instead, in the 1 series you can actually see a corner apex unlike in the Camaro(where you cant even see if you have a green light at a 4-way and are pulled up slightly too much, like a Hummer), which has worse outward visibility than ANY other car I have ever been in. Though it does look the part as a tradeoff for style. The Camaro has more power, but it also weighs much more and doesn't have BMW's trademark 50/50 weight distribution. The Camaro has the worst shaped steering wheel that I have ever seen or held, I think it was custom designed for a lego man's hand ??? It also has a horrible jelly bean shifter, vague clutch takeup, and it's nearly impossible to heel and toe, it also has very mushy steering feel which pails in comparison to any 1-3 series BMW or even the Mustang. The Camaro is pushier at the limits as well. Go with BMW if you want a great driving experience and live near alot of backroads, if you live in a major city and drive in straightlines on a grid with 4-way intersections being your only turns, then go Camaro.

The forty five grand the 1 m would cost you buys a z28 with 556 hp.

I'd opt for the z28.

good luck deciding.
