what is the temp where you are .anything below 40 degrees on my ss is not a good ride. not sure what tires you may have. the 20s i have and most of us have are summer tires only .will make ride rough.

HELL NO!!!!! Set the pressure for 36psi at every tire to get the best grip and tread life. Lower can lead to blowouts and extra wear on the edges. Higher can lead to balooning and extra center wear.

Also, as CrazyDan suggests, the stock Pirelli P-Zeros can get hard below 40 degrees. If the car has been sitting for a while, flatspotting and hard compound will cause a rough ride. Just drive for ~10 miles and it should go away. That said, the P-Zeros are dangerous when cold, so think about another set of tires for winter (I'm running LS wheels with BF Goodrich Radial TA Spec tires right now).

I have a 2LT RS, since November. The ride feels smooth & planted - it's my daily driver. Check the air pressure per Chevy specs and if it stills feels "different" (on various surfaces), have Chevy check it. We expect perfection from all manufacturers, but defects are the reality.

My 2LT first had the standard 2LT wheels... I upgraded to the RS 20's. I noticed a difference between the too, a lot of difference.
Just always keep that psi in check, makes a big difference, over all I think its a very smooth ride to be a sports car. |

When in doubt, take it back to the dealer with your concerns. My Camaro has a very nice ride.

My wife says it is a rougher ride and that "you feel every bump".
I didn't notice, think all the torque is distracting me from caring.

My 2LTRS was very smooth before I lowered it. Don't know what roads you drive on but keep the psi to 36 cold. The suspension we have is very compliant and soaks up the bumps well. You may feel some bumps but with 20" tires no way you aren't.To me the shocks and springs feel as if they weren't there, really soft, just felt the tires, like my Camry SE, and the car is kind of floaty in feel so I don't really know how much smoother you think it can be.
You think this is bumpy, try lowering it and you will get bumpy quick! |

To me they are tight, you feel the road. A characteristic of every Camaro, and even a Mustang that I owned. I have drove two other new Camaro's and they drive the same.
They are smooth on a dragstrip.... |

I'm used to driving a 4x4 pickup. Camaro rides smooth as silk in comparison. I find it funny that once troll was called our OP replied no more.
