seriously you can't have anything nice

I pretty much don't drive my car anywhere and when I do I park out in BFE and we walk. last weekend we went to a wine shop which didn't have the best parking situation but i parked out where there wasn't any cars around me. came out with a large suv on the drivers side but seemed they had plenty of room and it was gloomy out so i didnt spot the damage but low and behold i had a ding smack in the center of my drivers door. spotted it this morning getting out of the car.

i have a paintless dent guy coming today to fix it for 50 bucks because i wont be able to deal with looking at it

Well at least yours was done by someone you didn't know. I got my first and only door ding by a C5 member in Tennessee at the hotel the morning we all were heading out to the C5 fest and the worst part was that that person never said any thing to me, just looked at my car, then at me and got in his car and left!!!! I thought I was "safe" parking close to other cars because they were members here like me and that they would be careful but I guess I was wrong!!!!

I'm right there with you. I too park out beyond BFE and still got dinged. It's the only time I wish the car wasn't so cool that idiots feel that they need to park next to it.

For me I got the ding package on both cars. I think it was $300 per car for three years worth of ding removal. I've used it three times already, and have a forth one to get fixed on the IOM. I just don't worry about it any more, and what ever happens, happens ... Life is just way to short to worry about the little things.

Got a picture of the dent? I'm curious to how well that paintless dent removal works. I have a couple in my Ram I'd like to see fixed.

All three of mine turned out perfect, except for a very small paint chip left in one of the spots. The one on my SS was the diameter of a tennis ball, and now you can't even tell it was there...
