ok.. here is my question now..

I saw a lot of pictures of Camaro with Injen CAI... and i realized that the filter goes all the way down till where the left front wheel is at..

and I noticed that there is not a lot of space down there...

do yall think that there is enough space down there to install the hydroshield so i won't fck up my engine when i go through some hardcore rain??

also,

will the hydroshield change any Injen CAI's performance?? (since it covers the filter, it won't be able to suck as much air as it shoould.... )

absolutely........that is the set-up I have.


To me this is the best set-up around. I have had mine since April last year. There are plenty of good CAI and exhausts out there but many are going with INJEN and MRT.


I have many compliments on how good mine sound too.


For performance that is all I have done to my Camaro and I was able to pull a 13.783 @ 103.40 in the 1/4 mile. Guess that says it all for this set-up. Now I may have had great DA that day but it is what it is.


Yes, the hydro shield fits without any problem.

This last clip is one that danrc28 put together when visiting me to her a MRT 2.0 system. He went from Toronto to Florida and back stopping along the way picking up sound bytes. The video starts off with outside rev's, then an on ramp full throttle run, then an acceleration run from inside while talking about drone. Tape finishes with me passing the camera on the highway doing 3rd gear runs. Which has not been recorded by anyone else using the MRT (or at least I am not aware of anyone with this type of recording.)

Absolutely love my Ingen and MRT V2.0 combo.

The more miles I put on them, the better it sounds and runs, and the more I love them both. I still debate which sound I like better...the tone of the MRT V2.0 or the Whistle of the Injen Power Flow!
