I think it is pretty clear that SLP and GM are not working together on the ZL1s. Also I would say it is pretty clear that SLP does not have the rights to the ZL1 name and never did. They have their "ZL" packages of which the (SLP) ZL1 happens to be a part of.

Also (not directed at united1) This thread is about the looks of the two cars. Not the price or performance.

I would go GM Hood and wheels, and SLP for everything else.

Also, I would have LOVED a heritage grille with retracts.

( But that's OK, I will do it myself and have something no one else has. )

I prefer the factory racecar look of GM's ZL to the aftermarket look of SLP's. Personal preference. When I mod my own cars I try to stick to what I'd think the factory would do, appearance-wise.

Remembering that the GM version isn't completely finalized, looking at the two pictures, I'd be happy with either one, with absolutely NO regrets.

They're both beautiful and amazing Camaro's in their own right.

the wheels are killing me on the slp car so is the color we need both cars to be red for now im going with GM

GM w/o a doubt. Seriously guys, this is a production car!... which will probably be under $50k. Kudos GM, this thing will be a beast. Hope we get to see what Clarkson thinks about it.
