Pricing question

I ordered a Camaro today.

I got the 2LT/RS package w/automatic transmission. I am wondering about the transmission. Apparently you cannot have the $995 transmission. The computer automatically defaults to more expensive automatic with tab shifts.

This is totally weird to me. Has anyone else had this issue? Supposedly it is on the SS models to.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge there is only one Auto tranny available on the SS

The additional $800 is from the ad charges for the dealership. He told me that the drop shipping is at the discretion of GM and he has no control over that (I'm not too sure how this works but he is willing to work with me however I choose to pick up the car)...

Now all I have to do is finalize what I want and put down my deposit and I'll be on my way to a brand new Camaro...Damn I'm so happy...

According to the data I could find on this website, invoice for this car with my options should be somewhere around $33,652 with DSC included, so that should put my price at around $34,152.

Am I using the correct information or just not looking at this correctly?

Thanks.
I also ordered at $500 over invoice and this a little less but very close to number I was given. Did you get the polished 20" wheels? (see my options in my signature) I just told him that when I come to get the car we would just calculate it from the invoice and I would pay $500.00 plus the destination charges and doc fees. Since I am out of state I will pay tax in my state.
