Well thats a load of crap.I checked my charge card. It said 137.71 but that was a week ago. That was a pretty big discount. It may have a mistake. Sorry guys.

Hmmm, if you already paid...and then they sent you that email...it has to be some sort of false advertising ploy you can make on this - maybe via BBB...especially since it took your money already. Just fight for it and I bet you get it at the "special" price.

LOL!

It's one of two things...

Their advertised price was below a competitor's cost and they (the competitor) called in a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) violation.

or

They sold out of their previous year inventory (possibly bought in bulk @ a discount) and this years price increase from Volant was much greater than before... allowing them to catch a pricing error made prior.

Distributors want business, but not at a cost of running out of business

And as far as the BBB, I'm sure autoaccessoriesgarage has some small print somewhere stating "prices are subject to change" and "not responsible for errors blah blah blah..."

They made a mistake on the pricing on the product and after they started getting more and more request their monthly statement came in and...
OH CRAP!!

and if they didn't have a statement before..bet they do now.

DJCSR maybe if you talk to that Rick (trying to be nice) who knows what you might be able to work out.

Volant CAI

Hi, I know it has been a couple months since this post was done, but I am looking for this Volant CAI and it is $275 or so everywhere. Anyone know where it is $137 still? I have a2011 2SS looking for a little more speed and better sound. I have been looking at the K & N Typhoon for about $256, anybody have an opinion on which would be the best for the money? Looking like the $137 is a done/gone deal so gotta decide which to buy at $260-$400.
Thanks, Jerry

Actaully no. It was a price mistake and leasted for a week or so.

BUT the V6 is ALOT cheaper than the V8 one anyway.

Wow you got a good deal on that...are you still happy with it? My friend has a volant on his tahoe...he has had it for a long time and it seems to be very good quality.
