Than y dos GM need a lone from U.S.

4150, Original invoice to the dealer
4200, Shipped by the plant
4800, Bayed with the carrier
5000, Delivered to the dealer

You are right, PonyMan, the dealer certainly holds the upper hand as far as when the paperwork gets completed. But it's hard to believe all dealers will receive their cars just days prior to May 6th. If it's a nationally advertised event, they may hold the cars under wraps until then, but it'd be best to not let the buyers know their car has arrived, we're a restless bunch.

I have a 2LT/RS, RJT on order, I was the First to Order at my dealership, and now because of someones decission to make V-6's for all the Dealers First I have to wait longer for MY CAR. SOLD-ORDER for any type of Camaro should have Priority over the Demo models.

Are we talking 18 days here? 4200 ( less Canada, as we are not part of this) cars @ 300 a day = 14 shifts .

Do you have confirmation of this? This is the first I've heard of the "Big Reveal".

I am the 1st V8 at my dealership... If you are correct (please site a reference) this means I can go pick up my Camaro on May 8!

The dealer cannot legally sell the car until they have an MSO and a complete window sticker. If GM holds those things up, that's that.

My reference, as I said in the opening thread; I was told this by three different dealers (My dealer in Texas, also a 25 year friend of the family (NM), and my brother-in-law, a GM of a dealership in Oklahoma). With no leading from me, all three said almost the same thing; V6 to dealer, first "sold order" (V8 only), all to arrive at same time for "big GM reveal" first week in May (May 6th). Time will tell!!

Well I was told I will have my car late March early April. This came from GM.

I would like to believe you, as my dealer is small with 3 allocations and I (priority #1) was not picked up in the first consensus - May would be ideal for me. Would this mean that ALL dealers will have the show V6 and first pre-sold orders for this "reveal", even if the dealer was allocated 1 pre-sold car through Oct?
