Always apply tire shine products with a rag or a foam pad. If it must be sprayed, spray it onto the applicator. I just tried adams VRT, it looks great and seems to hold up well due to it's waterproof properties.

I "trick" I use; after application of dressing, I wipe off the tire with papertowels. This removes the excess, and helps avoid the "spray" effect.

Ed

(And I NEVER spray it on....always use old Zaino applicators (cotton pads) for application)

Make sure to get the new Super VRT! It is waterproof and has SPF in it to protect your tires. It does not sling off like a lot of other tire shines.

I put some of my tire shine in a old plastic coffee can with a lid ,and use a small paint brush to apply it to the tires. Works great.

I cut the handle on the brush to fit in the can so I can leave it in the can between washes.

I use the Meguiar's Hot Tire Shine Spray (I think thats what its called, lol) on my cars. Works pretty well. Slings it up sometimes when I apply too much and dont use the applicator pad I have, other than that, the shine lasts for a while.

Zaino Z16 Tire Gloss is good stuff. It's a wipe-on treatment that won't sling onto your paint.

Armor All Tire Foam is the best and no spray mess at all.

Use the same product, dries fast and no fumes on the paint. It keeps the shine for more than a week and does'nt go brownish like others.
