It's both , but the color is what grabs everyones attention first, even the police. first 3 times I drove it I had a police pull out behind me and check the car out then give me a thumb up.

 It's the color. And to paytnom   Do you frequent CarCare on 8th Street. Judy said there was bright Green camaro that comes by. Then she looked at mine and said Yes that's it. I live nr Columbus now but I am originally from Erie. Maybe will see you sometime this summer cruzin around.

took our vacation last year to the NW part of the country that took us through yellowstone,space needle, yosemite and more. people would take a pic of mt. st.helens and do a 180 and take a pic of my car! some ask to stand or sit by it, so i know my car made it in a few vacation picture alblums! going to the SE next month so we will see if the same reaction is still there or not.

The color does matter. Mine is white, and most people start their comments with "I've never seen a white one before" or "It looks really sharp in white".
Most Camaros around here are black, silver, or yellow. |

I think it's a mix of both. The color def attracts attention but I think the car demands attention too. I get a ton of stares, etc and mine is a CGM. I think a lot of people just really like the camaro.
