I called my dealer, they are expecting delivery of the car this Sunday 5/15. We will see if everything goes as planned. Being in Rochester NY may actually benefit me on this one lol.

After having to switch dealers bc my original couldn't get allocation. I can FINALLY see the light at the end of the build shop.

My wife knows about the car but not that I add the RS package. I can't wait to see her face when she see her new baby.

VIN this week and then I am hoping the 'vert hit the dealer in PA in 2 weeks.

05/09/2011 - (4000) Vehicle available to ship.
05/09/2011 - (4150) Invoiced (order is invoiced to the dealer).
05/09/2011 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.

Not to be a Debbie downer, but.....

I talked to my salesmen yesterday, and he said my vert is in QC. He guessed that because it is a vert, which are fairly new, they spend more time there. He was told it can be up to 4 weeks !! If it was a coupe, it would be on a truck within a week, to the dealer.
I guess the good news is, she is getting extra attention, making sure I won't see any of the problems some of the other vert owners are seeing. The bad news is, I WANT MY CAR !!

it's getting to you that fast? I thought it took 3 weeks to ship after the build was completed

As of saturday it was unloaded at the rail yard 10 minutes from me...they just need the truck to bring it over..

Rail car must have been in Hyperspeed....Im in mass which isnt that far from the gm plant so maybe that had something to do with it

I was unloaded from the railcar yesterday.....hopefully I'll have mine this weekend as well. I am hoping no later than Friday, otherwise I will be reapplying for a loan.

Mine sat in the final rail yard for 5 days...its now on a truck enroute to a dealer near me....Then they have to put the ground effects on, which is turning into a mini nightmare, but might see it saturday if not monday
