I'm not sure about that. I've seen a few pics from customers that have painted our inlet elbows, but I don't know the process. We now have yellow couplers for the V6 and the V8 as well as the yellow air box option. If you go with both yellow hoses and yellow air box, it only adds a total of $20 to the intake price.($10 for each option) This is a good route to have some yellow color added without painting the elbow.

There's another thread about the CAI inc intake changing the sound of his exhaust for the better. Does that happen with all intakes or is it just the CAI Inc.

I don't know if it's typical on all intakes, but we hear the same thing from our customers as well.

I have a few sound clip videos showcasing stock as well as a few different exhaust options, it will definitely enhance the sound!

I have CAI and love the sound and the construction is top notch.
Kaizen tuning did the install along with the MAST Stage II cam and other mods.

Intakes in general will make exhaust sound deeper not just CAI inc. intake. Replaced CAI inc. intake with Vararam and my car sounds the same just a tad, tad bit quieter, exotic sound almost like a GTR R35 Skyline.

I guess I'm one of the rare people that prefer the look of the roto-fab over cai kit. I highly doubt that the power gain difference between the two is very substantial or noticeable. As everyone else has said; get the best looking/costing intake for your taste. I love the looks and function of my roto-fab and it also was a great price!!

I agree, you have to go with what you like and what's important to you as the buyer. The one thing I will say that I really like about our system from a consumers point of view is that it offers some tangible differences that other intakes do not provode (insultaed air box, ceramic coated intake tube, filter with a engineered velocity stack and smooth bore tube stop) So you can actually see what you are paying for in terms of a "cold air intake" as opposed to something that looks basically the same as most other systems (not bashing anyone or anything, just pointing out some design differences). But like you said, at the end of the day you are the only one who has to be happy with your choice. And no matter which way you go, if you are not happy, their is always EBAY.
