Camaros represented well at 2011 Indy 500
Thought some of you would like to see some shots from this years 100th Anniversary Indy 500. This was our first trip to the 500. It was simply amazing. The people in Indianapolis were so gracious and friendly....hats off to that city!
The race and time spent at the race park was simply amazing. If you have not gone, it should be a 'Top 5' on your Bucket list. It is simply an amazing time. I shot about 500 pics, this is my first batch of shots from 'Race Day' ....there may be a couple from the day before....I tried to keep them in order. Hope you guys enjoy them.. http://www.webwize.com/grbphotos/Indy500/index.html for those of you wondering....yes we got very lucky with the seats, beginning of the turn 1, upper deck first row. So we had a great view of front stretch and pit row. If we go again, we will probably be disappointed with the next seats. arghhhh, we are spoiled now. And for you photo buffs....I was shooting a Canon Mark 5D II....mainly shooting about 1600 ISO, F65.6 between 6000-8000/sec. 70-200 mm lense with 1.7 tele-converter

 I love how they have the stripe continue on the small piece above the windshield and love the heritage grill. Nice touches! |
