Stock clutch is not going to like much over 500 RWHP for long. The transmission is pretty durable. The weaker link is the drive-shaft and axles. Remember:
High HP + Traction = Broken Parts.

my tranny is being touched up right now, not bad after the power I've thrown at it, changing the synchros and putting brass bushings on the forks. Other than that it seems to be holding up ok... Synchros going in are carbon fiber.

I never had any intention of keeping her stock, I was just doing my homework determining where and how I wanted to go to generate power...

I'm almost there, still need a nine inch diff and 3.07 gears so I can launch her the way she wants to be launched and still go over two hundred in the standing mile without having to shift into 6th.

OP, sorry for the thread jack... back to your regularly scheduled programming...

I finally did, I put a hair dryer on each side of the motor and ran a really long extension cord....

I Love the power and the torque is unbelievable... 110 mph tire smoking romps are crazy... Doing that at 75-85 mph keeps a lot of idiots from wanting to race...

Several times I've down shifted without acknowledging the person in the other car, rev match it to let the clutch out, and just hammer it into full boost... Tires go up in smoke and the other car usually just goes away, or gives me a thumbs up and goes away...

Well, as mentioned above, they are currently going through the tranny... Checked everything, and are going in with the bronze/brass bushings...which ever one... They are also going in with Carbon Fiber Synchros... I have an ACT 1400 Ft/lbs rated clutch....Twin Disc, and Drive Shaft Shop 1400 HP rated axles...

Heavy duty sways, trailing arms, toe rods, delrin diff bushins, and solid aluminum sub frame bushings... The backside is solid, a tiny bit noisy but solid...

I'm for the moment still on the stock diff and praying I don't grenade it since two people have offered to buy it when I put my nine inch with 3.07 gears in it.. along with a one piece aluminum drivehshaft...

I hear you and I would love to see and hear your beast... but, Brandi is pretty dang quiet... before the build, I had a CAI and an axle back, and she was much noisier then... Now she pretty much sounds stock until I really get her into boost... Then there is the final determining noise to those that recognize it... the blow off valve popping... Pppssssshhhhhhh.....

With the turbo's dicing the sounds waves a million ways from sunday, and the magna flow mufflers, she just doesn't advertise much... I really have been thinking about a set of cut-outs... Do you offer those...???

You need to hook up with the Htown gen 5 Camaro guys. There are some bad Camaros in that group, and yes, properly prepped they can, the trick is getting this much power to hook... I didn't build it to spin em... Drag radials don't spin too bad, but the stock tires go up bad..

Owen at ARD can hook you up with pretty much anything you want performance wise... he built many of the fast cars in and around Houston, and a better group of folks is hard to find..
