I'll be expecting my email from Vengence in a week or 2 then...just won 3 "dyno days" (dyno day=3 pulls including air & fuel) in the Chinese auction at a car show today...so now once I get this on & the computer "learned", I can get my car dynoed...then after I get the Trifecta tune, I can get it dynoed again...as for the third certificate...who knows

There is only going to be one version of the intake that doesn't require a tune, correct? Are you just hoping that the tune from Trifecta squeezes out a bit more hp? I looked into the pricing . . . over $400 bucks for the tune if you get the cable and advertised 13hp gain. The Vararam intake is much more hp per $.

I think they said that they left a little room for peoples that want to have it tuned.

Not sure if that was said. Rolnslo did say he thought it might be possible for guys with tunes to get a tad more power out of it though...but who knows.

There will only be one version of the V6 intake, unlike the V8 intake. As for room for tuning improvement, there should be some but I have absolutely no clue how much could be gained. I'm sure Vince @ Trifecta will love to get a few logs from an already tuned car once someone installed the Vararam intake. I know they were aiming to leave room for gains caused by other mods (headers, high flow cats, etc...) and we briefly talked about possible other gains from tuning but not too much, as I don't plan on tuning my Camaro.

Guess we'll see how things go once you guys get your intakes.

Hope this thing gets out soon. I have been waiting on this mod since I first heard of it. Glad to see that you want it to be as close to perfect as you can make it. If it wasn't then the "messenger " would really take some hits..

I am getting a tune for the whole exhaust (long tubes, mrt2 & the intake)...even without the 13 hp gain, I'd still get it

Well Monday is almost here. Hope they ship tomorrow (Even tho I won't install till July) so I can buy my other mods this week. Don't know why I'm waiting for this to ship before I buy my other mods. But it just feels right to me going this route.

You thought it would be that easy?

To hold, yes, it was there on display. To have, nope, still has to wait for the heat pad and install instructions before getting his.
