I tried returning the vehicle to stock and the re-installing the new emissions tune, but no luck. Everything but the Evap and 02 Sensors were in the "Ready" state after the install. I drove the vehicle 26 miles after that and they still have not reset? I am not sure what to do here since this was converted in EFI Live and sent to the SCT to install. Could something have changed during the conversion?

Doug if I e-mail the file back to you that Ted sent me would it show -up if something change during that process?

Thanks again for to all for trying to help..

Like I told Ray in a PM, I tested a car and was able to get both o2 monitors to go ready instantly, but not the evap like we can with the old method via EFI live.... maybe need an update for EFI??? But at least getting those two to set just leaves the EVAP, which just needs the drive cycle, but judging by what acdelcotds says, looks like a bitch LOL

Hey John.. You indeed told me that and I wish I could get the 02's to set right off... I think the EVAP would set after a drive cycle or two...

I know...It's killing me with not being able to get the monitors set... The sad thing is it runs great... It's shame that TN puts us through this every year, but they do...Sad thing is like I stated above... It runs great...Like a scalded dog...... If this keeps up though I will be posting this vehicle for sale... :(... Someone would get a great deal for all the work I have put into the car...

In order to get monitors to set several things have to happen ..... In addition to being driven at various speeds and time lengths as well as mileage there must be a hot soak . The vehicle must be driven then be parked for a length of time. The safe number is retest the vehicle after it has been driven for 100 miles. Usually over the course of a weekend we say.Everytime you reflash or clear a dtc or parameter your starting from scratch. Hope this helps

have you tried disconnecting the battery or removing the 2 pcm connectors for a few minutes after you flash the pcm?? might be worth a try, after how many times it has been flashed,,, i usually remove the 2 connectors on the ecm for about 1 min whenever i flash mine

Only the rear ones because I took them out to remove the anti-foulers... I am up for trying anything at this point.

I have been watching this thread due to I have the same problem coming up soon.

I am not 100% sure but dont most inspection places pass you if only only one not ready showing?

Also I had a nissan that was OB2 i think late 90's that wouldnt pass emissions, the evap and two other codes would never show ready. We drove the hell out of the car trying to get it to show ready to no avail. Later my dad's friend found some wierd directions to drive the car at certian speeds so many miles, turn off ac drive so many miles, change to such and such speed and drive so many miles. Well after following these directions it worked and came in ready.

I really hope this problem gets solved. And I will experiment with ideas as well. Think someone mentioned the heat not getting high enough in the headers to "cook" the emissions properly so i will try wrapping the headers and see what happens
