Just do a search 66 panther and done. It's the Camaro before being called a Camaro.most cars are being designed well before being built (years).back in the day (the 60s mostly)racing was a big driving force behind most performance built cars. Gos the saying. Win on Sunday sell on Monday. Remember it was a ford driver that invented the tool box.if anyone thinks the mustang is even or better or what ever YOU'RE on the wrong site. I think you are a confused little man in regards to GM having built and raced what was to become the Camaro prior to it's actual release as a '67 model. Show me proof of any race prior to the release of the Camaro that the car actually competed in. Holy Non-sequitur Batman! Maybe I missed something, but what is that toolbox comment about? Was it a joke of some kind, if so, I'm not getting the punchline.

Anyone who thinks the '05+ Mustang looks like the SN-95 or New Edge Mustang is blind. I don't believe that the Panther was built before the Mustang either. Chevy developed the Panther project because of the Mustang, not before.

I don't know what is more incredible The delusion of mustang owners believing Ford has actually presented them with "improvements" to the exterior or even a new design.... or the Camaro fans that can actually sit here and bash how excellent of a car the 5.0 is....

I'm a fan of all the American muscle cars coming back but the Camaro is def the better looking of the 3. I've had my car for over a year now and people still ask me about it when I go places. It's almost getting old but I appreciate their compliments. I'm a long time Mustang fan but I agree with most of you here, it just seems a bit dull esp with the base package.

Before I bought my SS, I had went out and driven the new 5.0 and the new challanger. IMO, i liked the camaro the best (hence why i bought it). I used to have a bunch of other domestic cars (99 Cobra, 03 Cobra, 04 Cobra, 96 Cobra, 99 T/A) but to me, the best out of the three was the camaro. The 5.0 has tons of potential and is an awesome car but I thought it looked a little plain.

WOW... All I ever said was the 5.0 looked plain next to my Camaro, and in my opinion looks better. Never did I say Mustangs suck or something like that, but the Mustang guys on a CAMARO forum just can't handle the fact we like our cars better than a Mustang. Wonder why? Cause it's a Camaro forum, of course we like it better than the Mustang hence why we bought one. Amazing how off topic this went, all I said was I liked the way the Camaro looks better, the Mustang looks way too plain next to it. The picture proves my point, now stop arguing over which ones better.
