Thats correct, Carbon Flash only available on the 45th so third choice and finally approved choice was black. Still grinning from ear to ear, though.

 Yes, a BIG Thanks for your service to our country! Welcome to this great forum! I'm new also, (and a mod on another forum[non auto] in cyberland.) A BIG congrats on ordering your new SS  I'm so excited about getting my Camaro, I can hardly stand it!! LOL! My dad was the new car sales manager for the chevy dealership in my home town, and I begged for a Camaro, but daddy ordered me a 1973 Nova SS instead. Not a bad little car mind you, but just wasn't the same. sigh. Anyhoo... look forward to being in the "waiting" forum with everyone! s

Carbon Flash will be awesome. I think it's a little darker than CGM. Welcome and congrats. I don't think you can purchase RJT either due to the tsunami that hit Japan (totally took out the paint plant there). Chysler got hit harder than GM from what I've read too in regard to paint and/or colors..

I only know about CGM, because I specifically asked about it, but IBM probably falls in the same boat.

Right, we all know CGM, or IBM for that matter, aren't available right now. But who "confirmed" it wasn't available until the end of the year?

It'll be rough coming from a CTS-V though. That's a world class car.
The Camaro would be my choice too

CTS-V vs Camaro, but mostly b/c I can't afford a car that starts at $64K.

I did love my "V', but couldn't justify spending the extra 30k on another one or an C63 AMG.
The mod bug has bitten, ordered the Plasma's, LED interior lights, and got in on the Wired harness group buy already and the car is not scheduled to be here for another 6 weeks. Been listening to the exhaust thread for the last few days tryin to figure out which one I want. Can't decide between the Bassani or the Borla "S". I had Corsa on my "V" which sounded awesome, but its a little to raspy for my on the Camaro. |
