Do the RS have the same size tires as the SS? What I am asking, are all four tires the same or do they have the larger rear tires like the SS?

Night A: Temp = 65 degrees, humidity = 60% 1/4mile time = 14.6 Night B: Temp = 80 d; humidity = 85% 1/4 mi = 14.8 So, say the corrected times for these runs are both 14.7 (I know this isn't the actual number, but I'm just using this as an example). By factoring in the prevailing conditions, we get an idea of how the car wold perform under standard conditions. Basically, I thought the point of corrected times was so we could compare track times under different conditions? Obviously, this doesn't account for the driver, so different times on different nights could just be due to the driver doing better or worse.

![]() As for the tranny tune... Yes, the shifts are much faster and firmer, which is actually better for the the tranny, but it really doesn't appear to improve the 1/4 miles times... I was very surprised by this.... I believe others have noticed the same things... One last thing... you mentioned 2.1x 60' times... with some practice you should be able to knock that down a bit... you should be able to consistently get 2.0x... Don't be afraid to really put some hit into those tires! You pretty much have to treat them like a drag radial rather than a street tire.. |

Bingo. This is where DA is useful imo. You don't use it to compare against other cars, but you use it to get a better idea of what you're doing with your car. Rarely in the real world do you get a chance to run before and after mods with the same exact conditions.

So heres my quick analysis.
Wish you'd have ran your 2nd run (the one without the passenger) with the nannies on and in sport mode since that seems to consistently get better times than running manual mode and TC off. But no biggie. You ran around a tenth faster that run that your prior run in better weather. Everyone else ran 2 or 3 tenths slower than last time. Might be "ricer" math, but that tells me that for your run, this intake could worth 3 or 4 tenths in the quarter on a stock car. Not too shabby Heres more "ricer" math for ya...Rough estimates say need another 100 HP (all else being equal) to gain a second in the quarter. So if the above is true, you could say the intake might be adding up to 30 HP once you get her running down the track. Of course that might be a bit optimistic. lol. Results look good to me...but hopefully we can see more runs in the future to see what others are getting.

You know what I think is RICE, having two 4th gen Camaro 16" rims on your GTO. Why not get a decent set of racing rims.....that match?
Go troll somewhere else.

I want to post in this thread, but im having a hard time figuring out if its even worth my time.
Im not understanding why he would come into a Intake development thread and then talk shit about omg what cai is the best? Its a development thread, with a vendor wanting to be the best power wise, obviously this thread will have comparisons to the competeing intakes like the Injen.
