2012 Camaro 2LT 'vert Pricing received ... I hope ...
Well got a call from me dealer today, and they said they'd got their MSRP for my car ... for the base 2LT 'vert they're quoting me $37,925 CAD with all fees in excluding taxes (and that's after the GM employee pricing discounts).
Apparently option pricing is still not available but should be out this week. So, anyone think this is real, or just the dealer making a guess?

Not too sure why they would have MSRP but not options. Wouldn't it make more sense to put the info for both out at the same time?
Maybe check with another dealer and see is they have the MSRP? |

He quoted Canadian Dollars. Using Google to convert to US Dollars it is $38440.02

I was confused about the price for the same reason as above though, why an MSRP without the option MSRP as well? |

Seems really high to me! Got me worried now about what my 2SS/RS vert is going to cost. Hope the Canada conversion is wrong or dealer is wrong!

Well considering they seem to be the only dealer in North America able to give 2012 MSRP pricing (I've checked 3 others) ... I'm going to go with trying to snow me as a valid hypothesis.
You'd think dealing with a guy that walks in with the entire order book printed out and with options wanted highlighted would be someone that you should take a bit more seriously. Oh well, waiting for pricing now ... and will be finding another dealer. |
