Andrus Cipriani is known for spitting out some slick concepts via his computer. His latest effort? This new Ford Cobra Snakehead. It's inspired by the original Cobra's big engine/small car philosophy, but it has a hardtop and updated bodywork.

Cipriani doesn't say which Ford lump would be called upon to power this beast, but we think the 5.0 Coyote V8 would do nicely. Of course, this car is entirely theoretical; it's just a design study from Cipriani. But we sure hope Ford's paying attention.

It doesn't look quite as good as the GT, but I really wish Ford would make a Vette-fighter along these lines. The front's a bit bloated, but the sides are gorgeous.

I like it. I agree that it doesn't look as good as the GT, and I think it looks like the new Focus too much. But it's decent.

While I can't say I would buy one (if it is GT money, it is beyond my reach) but it does appear quite sexy. If that was the new Mustang I think I would be owning the 2nd Ford of my life!

I like it, but I'm almost thinking the next gen viper will probably look closer to this than anything Ford will be putting out over the next 10 years...
