Replacement Colors

There obviously has been a lot of discussion lately in regards to the topic of colors and the Camaro/ZL1. And now with the latest rumor that IBM and CGM will not be available for MY2012, I ask what colors do you think GM should offer as a replacement?

Of course we don't have to worry about considering what colors would also work well on the other vehicles produced at Oshawa like GM has to. Although, I'm sure they could do at least one exclusive Camaro color like they did with Synergy Green. We also don't even know if the replacement colors we want are even available with the situation in Japan still showing its effects, but whatever.

Anyways, choose a couple replacement colors that you would like to see offered. If you can, please provide some pics if the color mentioned isn't posted in the thread to help those get a good feel for your choice. The colors you choose can be similar to the colors they are replacing or completely different, whatever you want.

Here are my two selections:

IBM replacement = LeMans Blue Metallic

CGM replacement = Supersonic Blue Metallic

Supersonic blue metallic gets my vote. That would be my first choice since CGM won't be available. That looks sick.

If this is the case, then gm has to work on this one. No offense, but I'm not sold on those two choices on the vettes above.

Let's see some Jewel coat (or three layered) metallic schemes with blue, other shades of green, and perhaps even a brown or bronze.

Then again, chevy has to make sure that their color choices don't implode on the launch pad.

Post #4 in the ZL1 Photoshop thread has a really nice blue. I can't get my IPhone to put the picture here, but it would be a nice addition. Can someone post it for me?

Thought no one would ever ask but yes, now as our chance.
For the IBM and ABM we lost and for blues in general that we don't have at all I would like to see these are all GM color that have been used in the past with many different names:

Possibly Mystic Teal Poly Gm Color in 1997 and 1993 or 1994 also referred to as the changing color paint as it changes from blue, to green, to purple, but this is not chameleon paint.

Maybe Bermuda Blue Metallic:

The tried and true classic Marina Blue

Wow that supersonic blue is awesome. I have owned seven camaro and they have all been black. Every car suv truck I buy is always black. But this color may change that.

Edit: Ok if its a heritage color for zl1 (in which it should be) then

1. Lemans Blue (with some metallic flakes thrown in for the sake of being contemporary)

Mulsanne Blue (sp)

Grotto Blue.....on The Dynamic One!

Fathom Blue!

Diversion: Fathom Green.....could work ya know!!

Glacier Blue!!

Yea so I'm a stick in the mud. I like what I like! Peace!!
