It has been pretty awesome up here. Raining this morning, but this is really the first 'bad' day since we have been here. Bounced between NY and CAN yesterday (boating). It is hard to describe how cool it is to have a place with 1800+ islands, castles, ships, great fishing/boating and crystal clear water. Fun place. Getting roped into a wine hopping deal today. I am not a 'wine person' so this will be something different.

Just happy to be up here with family.

I love the Thousand Islands. I spent a lot of time there as a kid. I'm from upstate NY, so it wasn't too far for us. My dad bought some boats up there and we trailered them back to Sodus Bay/Lake Ontario where we had a summer cottage. I lived on/in the water through most of my childhood. I really miss it.

Me either, I was told, "It's not a shot glass, wine is for sipping." ... good buzz tho

First time I have seen it out too. Thanks again for posting. Did they open up the trunk so you could see the fuel cells and stuff ? Did you get to check out the cage, harnesses and tubs? Also, that is the factory 'sleeper' look with the rims and tires. The Forgelines and 345s kind of give it away a little when mounted.

And yes, it literally is just waiting for the tranny but it is ready to rumble. While back at the tranny shop Bowler made some updates to match the high boost curve.

Sorry I have not posted in a while - you know the way vacation can be - have been on boats most of the time here so haven't logged in here for a bit.

Glad to see that at least the SST made it out into the sun. It hasn't seen much daylight in 2 years. Also that is still the factory paint. Once it comes back to FL, there is something fairly 'cool' planned for the paint

, but that may wait until winter.

Time to drive the SST when it comes home.

Yes I did check out the cage and its a very clean install I didn't notice it at first. No the trunk was not open, I noticed a pull tab handle on the right side of the bumper is that a fuel shut off switch? The exhaust looks amazing too and I bet it will sound even better.

What else are you doing to the car? Are you going to upgrade the brakes? Any suspension work done?

I cannot wait to see the car finished. I will have to keep up with this thread now that I have seen the car.

Its just amazing.

(by the way it got WAAAAAAAY more attention than the savini lambo on display)

I also saw her this weekend at the Turbonetics open house. Absolutely beautiful. This car is a beast!
