See I had a different problem with my trunkrack on my Camaro. The lip hooks I could get on, it was the side hooks that hook to the sides of the trunk lid that I kept losing, they slip off and are hard to get in because the body seam is so tight. I've used it to go a few miles a couple times but I would never take it on the parkway or anything.

Check a Saris Bones Rs rack to see if it will fit.Never mind, just checked, no trunk mount works.
