I'm kinda' worried about that, too. While Z28 is, now, not the model I'm most interested in, I do hope this is not the first generation that is not blessed with such a paramount model. That would be a REAL shame... If the 6th Gen comes along as soon as '15, I'm really affraid this might happen... I'll reserve judgement until I see the new one though

I would like to ask someone to try to show me exactly how they could improve on the design of the 5th, because in all seriousness, there's not an angle I don't love, and can't think of a way that it could really look much better. Of course I'm not a very imaginative person... I'm pretty simple, lol

We still have no clear cut date on when the 6th gen will arrive, it could be as late as 2016, which makes more sense anyways.

They're getting tight and not in a good way. There's nothing to worry over yet though ZL1 is on the horizon, and hopefully Z28 isn't far behind. A new V6 for '12 and some improvements from FE4 are coming... It's going to be a great several years

They did the C5 right. Modern look with classic style. It's like Kate Beckinsale, you don't want to change a thing, you just want to go for a ride.

I even still like the Stealth/Mitsubishi (not surprising since I owned one.) That look would be cooler than the current Moosetangs, but if they go that route, it won't be a Muscle Car, IMO. Then again, I don't care too much what FoMoCo does, but I would like to have them keep competing.

Did I make it clear that the Stealth-ish concept art was for those other guys? GM wouldn't throw away the beauty they've created, just put her in a little different catsuit.

All these things roll around in my head and the voices tell me that ZL1 may be the penultimate Muscle Car of all time.

It has to. The mustang is. For the 6th gen to compete it needs to drop at least 200 lbs.

I do not believe the mustang is and withe the Camaro not having its own dedicated chassis it will get smaller but stay at the same weight.

The next best thing... is not always the next best thing. Just look at history. I do like the direct injection GenV on the way, but will I like the new body any better, or worse???

Not really Z related, but it is Camaro related. Drove by the local dealership today, and man, is the color palette outside ever BLAND!!

Black, white, yellow, red, orange (which is actually Campbell's Tomato soup orange/red.)

The general really needs to get those new colors chosen, because the dealer displays are really visually unappealing

I have been going over this one.... over and over and over and over(you get the picture). The answer is..... I CANT. GM really knocked the design out of the ballpark and I just dont see how it can be topped.

They have their work cut out for them, thats for sure!
