I'm flying back to the island tonight, going to try to make it to one of these shows every once and a while, things should be slowing down for me a little bit. Been hectic since I've gotten back from overseas.

Oh, by the way Dean, I like your new carbon fiber hood. Not sure, but is that a different style of spoiler on the back or is it stock. I dont think it looks like my 2010 or could be mistaken. Either that or they changed it a bit for 2011.

Taz,

They changed the spoiler. It extends off the trunk lip to the fenders. I like it better than ours. I was looking at the mounting style. If same mounting holes, interesting option...

Pre-reg for 7/31/11 autocross is now open. However, if this is your first time racing, you will need to do early morning walk up reg. May be okay depending on what class you want to run, F-Stock, E-Street Prepared, C-Prepared, STU, SM. Let me know if you have any questions.

Not a horrible idea, but I have had people contact me that have tried this and they were not happy with the results, one even resulted in paint damage... Just sayin... Different strokes for different folks... :-)

definitely a valid concern. lol. i personally tend to gravitate towards cheap/free stuff. it's so bad that my last camaro picked up a few nicknames: "the recycle bin" and my favorite the "camaro wm". someone suggested i place WM badges on my car. when i asked what it stood for he told me wal-mart.

Red Hill/AMR here. Saw a Black SS with FL tags "DRK MATR" at Pearl Ridge Mall.

Heading over your way on the 8th of August for 10 days of Summer fun. Wish I could bring my 2SS over with me, but it looks like a "Thrifty" rental is what it'll have to be to get the plate lunches, shave ice and Leonards Malasadas. Lived on Hickam from '88-'93 and was driving a Black, 1986 Olds 442 back then. That was a popular car with the HPD boys and I got a lot of people slowing down around me when ever I was on the H1 or H2. Guess they thought I was going to whip out the Blue light and pull them over!! Loved that place and still do!!!

Was a blast. Too bad the fun runs don't count. Should be at the next one.

I see tire replacements sooner than later.
