Should cost 2450$ and SELLS FOR 4950$ which is downright ridiculous...
who wants to buy floor mats and stickers for 2500$
And what does LPE or any other big name brand shop sell this package for? Go look at the new Fesser-Moss Camaro in the "general discussion" section. How much for the Dale Jr car? How much for any of the Hendricks cars?

Anytime you work with one of the big shops, you get the big name tax. Some people like the recognition while others only care about the performance. No need to badmouth any of the vendors about it.

Well said, it's their business they can do what they like. I would like to think you are kind of paying for the hassle of installing those parts. And having it done by professionals insures that theres no screw ups, not to mention the warranty that comes along with it.

Any chance of the price going down in the near future? Little too much at the moment for my blood.

I bought my 2SS/RS from Medved last summer and they're great people. My deal was under msrp and they treated me right from the start to finish.

They did offer me this performance package while making my initial purchase, but I think I could get a lot more than 475hp for $20k by doing it myself.

You could always send your car to hennessy to build it for you. I have seen their shop and their work. Nice cars. I would pay the extra $2500 for the kit just for the warranty. You never know if a car will break or not!

Lets say you do this yourself and save the $2500 and the motor blows at 5,000 miles ?? Warranty can be worth alot !!

I bought my Camaro from Medved and they are a great bunch of guys. No pressure and a great selection of cars. When I got mine back in June of 2010, they had 27 Camaros on their lot.

Good people.
