I guess I was supposed to get a couple recall notices in the mail, but didn't... So all of you need to get to your dealer & get a wiring harness fixed, and the AC reprogrammed if you haven't already!
Jay, the service tech fixed the grounding issue on the scanner for me... they said the engine bolt is a bad spot! I will send you a pic of how they did it when I go pick Ladybug up after work!
Send me the picture too please!!! Or just post it here so everyone can see!!!

9500 S Eastern Ave in the Sansone Park Place shopping center (215 and Eastern.) So it would be a bit of a cruise for you but we'd love to have you come out and hang with us. C&C goes from 7-10am every Saturday. I get there around 8am and we hang out and then around 9:30am we head off to breakfast. You don't have to show up on a Camaro at all. Just come out and meet us! Hope to see you soon!
Lori

That looks like a good ground spot. Thanks for providing the pic. I would disagree that the engine block bolt is a bad choice though. The engine block is well grounded for two reasons: 1- In order for the spark plugs to provide a good healthy spark the engine block needs a good solid ground. So the auto manufacturer makes sure the block is well grounded. Second, the starter motor gets it's ground connection thru the engine block. For the short period of time that the starter motor is turning there is a substantial amount of current required to run the starter. To do that the ground to the engine block must be heavy and solid. Therefore, using the engine block bolt as ground for the scanner lights would be a good choice.

Was there on the fourth of July. I recognize the Auria in your pics. Is that where you stayed? My wife won a grand on the penny slots. I was lucky to break even. The Saturday we were there it was 111 degrees. Rained Sunday.
Hope you had a cool time.

The service guys only thought it was a bad spot because you'd end up with a wire just hanging across there, making engine work difficult without disconnecting it. The new spot keeps the wire tucked up and out of the way.
