All public sector provisions and resources are better in Norway, and the gap between the rich and the rest of their population is MUCH narrower than in this country. People are notably happier there, as measured by all the common statistical methods. The crime rate and the resulting number of people incarcerated are FAR lower there than here.
Crimes like the recent multiple shooting is therefore all the more remarkable because things like that just don't happen in Norway. We could learn much from the Norwegians. Sadly, it seems, THEY have "learned" something evil from examples altogether too common in our society. |
