Funny you mention that Hank!

I may have finally worked out a deal with the wife to get me lower, while being able to raise it back up if she drives it. Stay tuned next week

Once you're dropped, you won't want to go back...

No need to convince me Emma - I am onboard! My wife is just fearful she will tear something up with it lowered. She does not drive it that often, but if I do something to the car (that makes her too uncomfortable driving it) life will be unpleasant for me

For only having the car a little over 4 months she has been really good about all I have done & spent on it. Once she drives it she may be totally fine with it lowered, but if not I need the option of "adjustability" to get approval. It is going to cost a good bit more than just springs though.....

Hank knows how important the wife's approval is!

I do!!!

Do you need some of powerpoint presentations, slides, graphs, letters from those C5 members with lowered cars. I think I still have all that from my 3 hour presentation to get ours lowered. Presentations to "The Board" is tough. Sometimes it cost you dinner, flowers, movies, clothes, perfume and worst of all... ALL THE ABOVE! But it's worth every penny!

After 20 something years of marriage to the same wonderful woman I have learned one incontrovertible rule. It is far easier to beg forgiveness than it it to gain permission.

Got "final approval" from the wife today!

Gave Bruce @ Raymonds the OK to order my new Pedders Pace Car Package (adjustable coilovers, sway bars, end links, radius rod inserts, subframe inserts)!!Once he gets all the components from Pete (hint hint - hurry hurry )I can get it installed. I am very confident in my choice of Pedders Suspension & Raymonds for the install (and I am supporting 2 forum sponsors).

Sweet!

I've done a lot of mods to my car and the single best mod was lowering it.

Just an FYI for anybody coming out to the CICC Coney Island Custard Cruise Nights in Avon - The new start time will be 7pm beginning Friday 8/12.
Hopefully we can get a better turnout since most people could not make it by 6
