roto-fab v6 part #16 missing

According to the instruction sheet on the parts page, there is a 1 1/2 inch hose piece that I dont have in my package. I have the 3 3/4" piece but not the 1 1/2" piece.

Does anyone know if I re-use the stock air tube or am I missing something here?

EDIT: So after reading some posts, it looks like this part doesnt come with the Roto-fab kit so if your looking for it, your not going to find it. I just went to a part store and had them cut a piece of a heater hose of the same size.

I got the hood open with all the tools on-hand and I checked all contents in package and everything is ready, I just dont have that little 1 1/2" house piece.

I'm nervous, I want my roto installed :(.

Appearently this part installs on the A/C line if that helps.

I was missing that part as well when I did my install.

What I did was cut down one of the hoses from the OEM intake (can't remember which one exactly) and fit it over the A/C.

I think the only purpose of this hose is to protect the A/C valve from being banged into by the ROTO-FAB housing when in use..I could be wrong though

I have the same Rotofab intake. Mine did not include the short hose. I installed the intake Without the short hose and everything seems to be ok without it.

I went to part source and they ended up giving me a piece of hose I just had to cut at no cost... Problem solved!

So two hours of installation and having to reseat the cai about ten times to get it flush so that I could get the hood closed, the CAI is installed!!!

Finally my engine compartment looks complete. So far I went for a test run and did 14km with no issues. My exhaust sounds slightly more aggressive and I've noticed this without flooring it so this is confirmed and I'm impressed.

I was told to take it easy for the first 50km untill the computer can adjust to the changes.

Without further due, here are some photos.

Looks good! Mine did not come with the short piece either. I looked at the install and figured it wasn't really needed anyways. So, I did without. No problems so far!
